A quick and easy art journal spread.

Hi Everyone,

I want to share an art journal spread with you. I hope you like it.

A vintage art journal spread made with acrylic paints, distress oxide inks and stencils. #tcwstencillove

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me the products to work with, but the opinions I share here, are solely my own.

I made this spread in Ken Oliver’s Watercolor paper journal.

I applied a layer of TCW9001 White Gesso to my pages to prime the pages for acrylic paints.

Applied acrylic paints with a brayer.

Did a bit of background stamping with Archival inks.

Next, I applied Distress oxide inks through the TCW827 Spring Medallion and TCW 876 Screen View stencils.

After that, I glued flower images and paper dolls on to my pages. Finished the spread by adding few sticker quotes.

  1. Very nice, Saadia, very pleasing combo of stencils and stamping and colors. It just made me look it over very closely!
