Wild and Free – A mixed media journal spread.

Hi everyone,

I want to share an art journal spread with you. I hope you like it.

A journal spread with Ken Oliver's colorbursts, acrylic paints, modeling paste, oil pastels and The Crafter's Workshop stencils

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me the products to work with, but the opinions I share here, are solely my own.

I made this spread in Ken Oliver’s Watercolor paper journal.

I sprinkled Ken Oliver’s KN-TCW3526 Color bursts Trio Mermaid Teal on the page, sprayed it with water and helped it move with a brush.

Next, I applied acrylic paints with my fingers and brush, mainly at the edges.

I applied TCW9005 White Modeling paste through a TCW859 Fuschia stencil.

Added more color with water soluble oil pastels at the edges and in the center.

Finished the spread by adding black acrylic paint through TCW843 Wild and Free stencil.
