Be A Mermaid – Mixed Media art Journal

Hello Crafty Friends,

Have you seen these sea world new and beautiful stencils? I love them and I decided to use them in my Art Journal. My favorite technique is the coloring of the white texture paste. Here, I used Light & Fluffy modelling paste. I colored with watercolor and Liquid Metals Trios by Ken Oliver.

Be a mermaid and make waves.

I start by making my background with Distress Oxide.

Then, I used TCW 868Gulf Coast Flora with TCW9044 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste.

I also used TCW867 Gulf Coast Creatures with TCW9046 White Modeling Paste on a watercolor paper. After drying, I colored with watercolor and Liquid Metal Trios by Ken Oliver to give some shine.

TCW734 Constellations illuminated the sky with TCW9044 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste and colored with Liquid Metals Antique Gold by Ken Oliver. I found a vintage image on Pinterest. I adhered it with TCW9045 Matte Gel Medium, before to apply Modeling Paste.

I cut my TCW867 Gulf Coast Creatures and adhered them on my page.

Finally, I printed my title, cut and stuck it on my page.

Here is the result, thanks for stopping by today, I hope my tutorial inspired you!
