Creating Art Journal pages with stencils and chalk pastels.

Howdy TCW devotees, Lisa here with a TCW blog update.

I’m inspired, after attending a class this weekend with a master of her craft, I have been playing with stencils for the afternoon. Today I am sharing with you an art journal page I completed using a couple of stenciled gel print pages created with pastels and TCW831 Faithful Tree, I have to admit it I love the effect.

I used an old set of Pastels from a former stamping company and a make up sponge to apply the pastels through the stencil. The pigment attaches itself very well to the gel plate which allows for multiple prints. To remove the pastels from your plate simply add a little baby oil and rub with a little paper towel.

My favorite print was this one below.

Using the gel print page above I adhered it to the page with TCW Matt Gloss Medium to create this layout

Here is how I did that .

Big thanks and gratitude to the TCW TEAM for having me this year as a TCW DT.

This is my last post for the awesome TCW as my year term is up. I would like to thank all those who dropped by and checked out my posts. I am very grateful. Bigger love if you actually left a comment here on the TCW Blog.
