Spread Your Wings Art Journal Page

Happy Thursday Everyone!! Farrel here today to share my newest art journal page. I love how this page turned out, so bright and fun.

Let’s get to the tutorial!! To be begin, I used a page from an old dictionary and tore that page into strips. I used TCW9011 Gel Medium Matte to adhere to my art journal page.

Once the medium is dry, I then used a paint brush to apply some acrylic chalk paint.

Next I used TCW836 Texture Love stencil with TCW9001 White Gesso and acrylic paint to randomly add some patterns to my art journal. I used a sponge to apply the paint.

The next stencil I used was TCW832 Script Words

I used TCW9001 White Gesso and stamped with a lid to create some circles. Then used my spatula to create a line pattern.

I used archival ink and some different stamps to add more texture to the background.

I then decided to add some more stamped images. I used Distress Crayons to colour the images and to add shading. Here you can see I am using an aqua pen (water pen) to blend the crayon.

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you enjoyed my tutorial
