Ugly Paintings No More!

That’s what I call all my paintings when they don’t work out.  I have tons of them. Many I paint over the TCW9001 White Gesso just like this one.

Instead of repainting I decided to use all my painted papers. I’ve been on a roll using tissue paper to create more painted papers for layering. The tissue paper is great because it’s almost translucent when you add it to your work. Its a great way to add lots of layers without all the bulk of thick papers.

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

For these papers I used TCW834 Stone Increase, TCW837 Texture Plate, plus I added a few gelli printed scraps.

I added the papers to the the panel with TCW9011 Matte Gel Medium. Now I have a great start to a painting. I still don’t know what I’m going to do with it but I see many possibilities.

Get out your paints, tissue paper and TCW stencils and start creating your own painted papers to cover over your ugly paintings.

We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums. You can share it with us on our Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest using hashtag #tcwstencillove.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
