Today I want to share an art journal page with you that is abstract, colorful and has lots of textures.  Its one of those pages that just came together without any clear idea of what I wanted to do, but I knew I really wanted to use clear modeling paste and this gorgeous script words stencil.

I begin this page by adhering gelli prints to my art journal pages and I use TCW Matte Gel Medium.  You can view the video on how to make these gelli prints, over on my youtube channel here.

Now I have a good texture and variety of colour already on my background to start off with.

The next step is to create even more texture, so I am adding TCW Clear Modeling paste with the stencil TCW832 – Word script.

Next I add come color over the modeling paste using a variety of Dina Wakley paints as well as Dylusions.  I use my finger to blend the paint in.

I also make a couple of circles with paint and a stabilo all pencil that I smear to make make it look more 3D.  Then I add some Tim Holtz Small talk stickers to the page.

I also cut out a page from the Dina Wakley collage collective book, and add more hair to her with my pencil.
