Spring Silhouette: What do you see?

This stencil is called TCW850 Spring Silhouette designed by Rebekah Meier. What do you see in this stencil? A rabbit, large carrot, heart?

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

That carrot shape looks like a tree to me. I used that shape to design a landscape. I started with a 4×6 cradled birch panel and painted a landscape with little pink clouds.

After it dried, I started adding my trees to the front and the sides of the panel.

To add a little dimension I also added some trees with TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste.

Here is my finished landscape.

Here are the sides of the panel.

My inspiration always comes from nature so I see trees and flowers in most stencils even in the smallest shapes. Take a look at your stencils maybe you’ll see something you didn’t expect.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums. You can share it with us on our Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest using hashtag #tcwstencillove.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
