Today I am sharing a scrap/ journal piece I created for myself with a focus on my eldest, whom lives abroad in the UK. For this piece I used a basket full of glorious TCW arty goodies.

I started simple with a few basic scrap papers which I adhered to the page using TCW9006 Gel Medium Gloss

Then using TCW9003 Gold Gesso 

in combination with TCW855 Linked Tiles

I painted over my paper elements and using the rub back technique, revealed the pattern on the stencil.

I particularly love this stencil and the effect it leaves upon the page.

Some technique, different colour paint.

      I added some teal and some TCW9001 White Gesso.

I attached the photo to the page with TCW9006 Gel Medium Gloss, then detailed around the photo with the white gesso, gold gesso and the TCW855Linked Tiles stencil.

Out comes the  TCW9004 Light and Fluffy Modeling Paste, more stencil work.

A title using TCW843 Follow Joy.

I added a little detail to a DWM chipboard flower using TCW857 Sunflower Mandala,

TCW9036 Champagne Gold Modeling Paste,

TCW9038 Antique Gold Modeling Paste ,

Here’s a quick video to share my process.

I did a little extra detail with Gold Leaf and a little pen work  after filming.
