Welcome back to another TCW Blog post. I am Jeanine (My Arty Heart) and today I am going to show you what you can do with baby wipes and moped up paint.

For this project you will need the following:
- Moped up paint with baby wipes (let them dry flat)
- Gelli printing plate
- TCW Stencils
- Acrylic Paint
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
- Sewing pins
Step 1: Collect a bunch of baby wipes that you used to mop up paint from your table, let it dry and then stencil or Gelli print on them to create some interesting patterns.

Step 2: Cut these baby wipes into squares, using a template to keep them the same size.
Step 3: Pin these squares to a piece of scrap material (I used an old T-shirt). Make sure to measure the material and blocks to be bigger than your journal, as you will need material to fold on itself to create a flap on the left and right side.
Step 4: Use your sewing machine to stitch the blocks to the back material. I used zig zag stitching.
Step 5: Sew a small hem around all four sides of the material.
Step 6: Sew the flaps on the sides where the journal will slip into by just folding the material on itself, pinning it, and then stitching it at the tops.
Step 7: Add more stenciling to the finished journal cover to make it pop. I used TCW836 Texture Love, by Balzar Design with some hot pink and lime paint to add more texture.
You can tie a pretty ribbon around it or leave it as it is. I love this journal cover and plan on making heaps more, one for each of my finished journals.
