Hello Everyone!! Farrel here today with a mixed media art journal page using some of my favourite TCW stencils.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.
To start off I applied TCW9001 White Gesso to my pages as I had some marks on the paper that needed to be covered. I then used a brayer to apply some Paper Artsy chalk acrylic paint in Beach Hut and Inky Pool.
Next I used TCW790 Micro Bricks in the 6×6 stencil with Distress Paint Picket Fence.
Once that was dry, I then used TCW737 Love Sonnet in the 6×6 stencil and Distress Paint Spiced Marmalade.
Once I was happy with the background, I then added some stamps from Viva Las Vegastamps and black archival ink.
Next I stamped onto some tissue paper using Dina Wakley Splatter Girl stamp set and black archival ink. Then torn around the stamped images and using TCW9006 Gel Medium Gloss I painted the area that the tissue paper was going on and once placed on the pages I then painted over the top of the tissue paper making sure the tissue paper was flat.
