Guest blog post: Scrapbookpage ‘Love Today’

Hi! I am Martine from the Netherlands and today I am guest blogger here on the TCWS blog! So exited!

I made a scrapbook page with the 12×12 TCW778 Free Swirl stencil from Art by Marlene. Marlene is a fellow Dutchie, so I had to use one of here stencils. The project I had in mind did not worked out like I would have liked it to. However, the project I created now looks even better!

I made a process video and did a voice over in English. I normally only do them in dutch, so I hope you can understand what I am saying, and hopefully I did not say any weird things 🙂

Next to the Stencils I used a ton of watercolor markers, Distress Oxide inks and I also got to try out the Crafters workshop modeling pastes… And let me tell you! Smooth as butter! I love them! I was so exited when I got the small jars in all the pretty colors! The black however is my favorite. Its not dark dark black, but a beautiful deep dark dark grey with a hint of metallic. LOVE it! Makes all the other colors on the page pop.

You can find the video here:

I really hope you like this page and gets inspired by it! Thank you for reading and watching this post. Let me know in the comments below what you think about this page! You can find more of my work on my Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

Have a great day! Martine
