Quick & Simple Cardmaking Techniques with Metallic Gesso

Hi Everyone!

Alexandra from The Hedgehog Hollow here with you today and I have some more tips for using mixed media products and stencils in your cardmaking.  I love the metallic gesso’s from TCW and I have been playing around with them for a while to get the perfect way to work with them on cards.  Before the metallic modeling pastes came out I had tried many times to use gesso through my stencils on cards for a metallic looks without much success; however, the other night I had a eureka moment (at 4am as usual!) and I had to come and try it, I was so pleased it worked! I also have two mounting ideas for quick and easy cards that pack a punch so lets take a look….

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial, the stippling really helps give the cards texture rather than a painted look and I love the intensity of the mediums as well as hope the pink and silver words offset them perfectly.  Here is a full supply list to create your own versions… (affiliate links may be used at no cost to you).

Happy Stamping
