Falling Snowflakes

Hi Everyone!

Alexandra here from Hedgehog Hollow again. Happy winter! The temperatures are definitely cooling here in Ohio! We still work in Celsius which puts us at -2 right now! Siri tells me that 28 F…brrrrr!  It seems apt that today we are working on snowflakes, I made an alcohol ink panel, that totally wasn’t what I was planning to do, I was going to try marbling which you will seem in the video didn’t work, but the flexibility of Yupo paper means we could start over or just keep working and I LOVE what I did come out with!  Then I am working with a TCW stencil to give a great easy finishing touch; then I started the heat embossing and my paper melted! No fear we can fix it and we did! So check out how an idea evolves into something completely different and then how we fix things that go wrong to give this amazing result….

There are so many elements to love about this card including the stunning TCW pattern and the texture that embossing powder gives…

Now for a full video tutorial so you can make your own and learn some tips that I found out along the way, even the pro’s go wrong, right?

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.

Phew, trust me I can’t always fix it, but on this occasion it came out great, straightening stuff out with the vagabond is the BEST trick up my sleeve! You won’t believe how often I pull that one out the bag, plus the ECD tear tape is so strong its the greatest at smoothing out wrinkles or curls! Here is a complete supply list for you too…(affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you)

Thanks so much for joining me today, don’t forget to check out the HH and TCW blogs for regular inspiration and more ways to stretch your stencils! Happy Stamping!
