Experimenting in My Art Journal

Hi Everyone!
The wonderful thing about an art journal is opening up to any page and just experimenting. Loaded with stencils and foil from Therm-o-web I opened up my journal and created this page.
To complete this page I used the following:
TCW736 Dramatic Floral Stencil
TCW737 Love Sonnet Stencil
TCW738 Unicorn Stencil
Deco Foil Liquid Adhesive
Rebekah Meier Designs Mixed Media Transfer Foil
TCW Heavy Body Acrylic Paints
I started my page by using the 12×12 Love Sonnet stencil and heavy body paints.
When it I dried I added 6×6 Love Sonnet stencil to the page too.

I added the Dramatic Floral stencil with TCW Black Modeling Paste and let it dry. Then I pulled out the Deco Foil Liquid Adhesive and added it to the top of the black modeling paste.  The adhesive dries tacky and you put the foil on top and burnish it.

You can continue using the pen to add more foil. I kept reusing them both until the foil was gone.  Experimenting again I used the adhesive pen through the Unicorn stencil to add more gold foil to add words.  I wasn’t sure it was going to work but it did!

Here is the finished page.

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

As you can see TCW Stencils and Therm-o-web products are perfect partners!
I can’t wait to experiment more.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
