Index card bookmarks

This summer I’m participating in the Index Card a Day Challenge on Instagram. I’ll end up with around 60 cards when I am done so I figured out a way to use some of them for a functional purpose!

As you can see, I wasn’t very neat with my application but I wanted the layer to be a bit messy anyway!

I used the Julie’s Words, Correspondence and Have Faith stencils…they give you a ton of choices! I doodled a bit around some of my words to make them stand out more.

I had inserted a bit of sari ribbon in the tops of each card before sewing so that the thread would make it super secure. My husband has already claimed his! Which one is your favorite?

Thanks for joining me today…
