Obsessed with Flower Tiles with Karenliz

Hi Everyone!
I’m Karenliz and I’m obsessed with the new stencil called Flower Tiles (TCW678).

I’ve been using it for many things. It comes in 12×12 and 6×6.
I love repeating patterns so I felt this one would be great for a small abstract (5×5).

First I painted the canvas black and added DecoArt’s Crackle paste at the bottom half of the canvas.

I used the crackle paste again and added the Flower Tile stencil (12×12) on the other half.

I let it dry to crackle and anything that wasn’t dried I used my heat gun.

Once it was dry I started to add color; TCW Heavy Body Paint in Lemon Custard and Orange Slice. The blue is Liquitex Soft Body in Light Blue Permanent.

When it dried I added the Flower Tile stencil in 6×6 in between both colors with Light and Fluffy Modeling Paste.

Then I did the scary thing….glazing with Black Licorice paint and acrylic glazing medium.

It then looked like this.
I waited for it to dry a bit then used a baby wipe to take it off. I added a little white paint in the middle and sprayed it with water. When it all dried I took my fine line applicator and added some scribble of white paint.

Don’t forget to paint the sides of the canvas too.

Here is my finished canvas.

The Crafters Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project.
The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

Thanks so much for stopping.
I hope you enjoyed my project.

We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums.
You can share it with us on our Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest using hashtag #tcwstencillove.
