Rose Garden: A New Stencil for the 2017 Winter Release

Hi! It’s Karenliz.
I’m excited to show you one of the new stencils for the 2017 Winter Release.
This new stencil is called Rose Garden TCW711. It comes in 12×12 and 6×6.
Isn’t it GORGEOUS!!!

For this creation I used a piece of mixed media paper, acrylic paints, stamp, crackle paste and TCW Modeling Paste.  I took the mixed media paper and applied the acrylic paints haphazardly. I really didn’t think about it I just did it.

Once the paint was all dry, I added a stamp and then the Rose Garden stencil with modeling paste. You will notice I only used a portion of the stencil.

I used a heat gun to dry the modeling paste. It’s really best to wait for it to dry on your own. If you use a heat gun, heat from the top and underneath the paper. It helps it dry faster. After it was dry I started add color to the Roses.

Here is close up of one rose all finished.

Here is the finished piece.

So what do you think of this new stencil?
I have the feeling that I’m going to wear this one out!
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial.

We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums.
You can share it with us on our Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest using hashtag #tcwstencillove.
