Wine gift bag

New Year’s Eve is in just a few days and many of us will be taking along a little hostess gift to the party we are attending! Here is a pretty bottle gift bag to hold that hostess present.

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. This post also contains affiliate links. The opinions I share are solely my own.

The hardest part is the dry time for both the Crafter’s Workshop modeling paste and the Gem-Tac glue from Beacon Adhesives. The gift bag is a felt bag I found at Target but any plain bag would work.

Perfect for holiday gift giving! • AtopSerenityHill.comI got caught up in making the project and forgot to take a picture of the modeling paste on the gift bag, so I recreated what I did on paper for you. I applied the light and fluffy modeling paste very thickly through the Evergreens stencil and immediately added the glitter to the wet paste. This way the glitter was stuck only on the tree and not the entire gift bag. I then removed the stencil and used the excess paste and glitter on an art journal page. I couldn’t put the extra modeling paste back into the bottle due to all the glitter! I let the modeling paste dry for 24 hours due to how thick I had applied it.

The gems adhered to the modeling paste beautifully.

So keep that in mind when you make yours!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
