It is rare for me to get to art journal in person with a group, especially since I moved to a new area! The next closest thing has been to art journal along with a live stream video from a favorite artist! This past weekend, Traci Bautista offered a live stream for those that wanted to play for a couple hours together. Here’s what I came up with…

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. This post also contains affiliate links. The opinions I share are solely my own.

Traci started us off with a prompt to write down things, words and phrases that mean something to us…reading, thrive, flowers, be present, stencils!

From there I just played with supplies…including a couple stencils, Hex Flowers and Repeating Pods.

It was really fun to watch someone else create and share thoughts on her process while creating. It definitely made me feel less isolated in my studio!

I had absolutely no plan in mind and kept layering whatever felt right in the moment.

And then a lotus popped into my head and became the central focus of the page!
