Turquoise mixed media layout by Tetiana

Hi there all my arty friends! It is me, Tetiana. I am going to share a step by step tutorial of creating mixed media background with you. Do you like turquoise colour? I do! And today I am going to use all shades of this colour in my layout!turquoise mixed media layoutI’ve used really amazing TCW600 Overlapping Stripestcw600-overlapping-stripesAt the beginning carefully apply TCW9005 Modeling Paste to the paper through the stencil with palette knife.img_1944

To protect my paper from absorbing an excess moisture I covered some areas of the paper with TCW9007 Clear Gessoimg_1953

After drying I started to paint my background using different turquoise mists.img_1963

Than I added a bit of shine using Primary elements.img_1982

To make the texture more expressive I used TCW9001 White Gessoimg_1994

Also I added a blue texture paste with palette knifeimg_1996

At the end I added some pretty finishing touches with stamps and splashes of acrylic paint!turquoise mixed media layoutEnjoy all the details!mixed media background
