Bright, Bold and Fluorescent – A Canvas with Karenliz

Hi Everyone!
I’ve been in a fluorescent kind of mood.
It’s summer, sunny and warm so I think that’s why I’m using them.

Here are all the supplies I used:
Stencisl: Mini Mumsy, Mini Oblong, Mini Stockinette
8×8 Stretch Canvas
Liquitex Soft Body Fluorescent Acrylic Paints
ColourArte Silks Acrylic Glaze

For the background I used Mini Stockinette and Mini Oblong stencils in fluorescent blue, green and yellow. I created the background a few weeks ago. I didn’t like it at first and threw it in my closet. Going through all my TCW stencils I had an idea.
So, I added the Mini Mumsy stencil with modeling paste to the background.

Once the modeling paste dried, I colored in the Mumsy stencil just like an adult coloring book.
I even went right of the edges of the canvas.
This is the top of the canvas.

The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

Bright and bold. A perfect summer time piece!
