Hello friends! Tetiana Komarova here! Today is my first time over here on the The Crafter’s Workshop Blog and I can not be more excited. I’m going to show you a simple way of creating a background for a mixed media canvas using alcohol inks and an amazing stencil 12*12″ called Poppy Field! Don’t be afraid to experiment with bright vibrant colours of inks!
Let’s start!
Create a gorgeous texture using a texture paste with sand and a stencil.
Paint this texture with alcohol inks when texture paste dried completely. Use alcohol blending solution to create some interesting combinations of colours
Add more colour using glaze.
And add more shine using mists
Than just add some decor and enjoy the result!
