LIVING WATERS ART JOURNAL PAGE

Hello all, Nancy here!

It’s June and I am SO ready to head to the ocean. When my boys were growing up, a big part of our time at the beach was devoted to searching the tide pools for sea creatures. Today’s art journal page is an homage to those moments when life seemed so simple and we looked no farther than the ocean for entertainment and joy.

Creat an art journal page as an homage to the sea using TCW stencils

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.

With the Corncob Etching stencil and fluid chalk inks, add background design.

Using acrylic paint and hand-carved stamps add images of sand dollar, scallop shell and seahorse. Create a seaweed jungle using Fanciful Borders stencil with olive pastel fluid chalk ink and citron acrylic paint.

Hand carved stamps in an ocean theme add interest to the journal page.

A quote added as an image transfer creates a message for the page.

Using an image transfer to add a quote to the art journal page

A simple message added with black marker, and an application of fluid chalk ink around the outside edges, completes the page.
