Playing with Blocks and Stencils with Karenliz

Hi Everyone.
Today I’m going to show you how I created this:

By using this 3×3 birch wood painting panel.

First, here are all the stencils I used for this project.
Balzer Bits – Messy Script
Mini Cabbage Roses
Mini Circle Explosion
Mini Stitched Art
Random Stars
Whimsical Shrooms
Believe Script

I painted the panel black, front, back, all the sides, and even the small hole in the panel.

Using white acrylic paint I added the Messy Script bit on the back, front, and all the sides.

Although I love the way it looks, I decided to dip it in some water downed acrylic paint and let it dry.

When it dried I used Mini Stitched Art and Circle Explosion stencils to add more layers.

Using modeling paste I added the Cabbage Rose.

The stencils I used for all these blocks are in the list above.

I love working in a small size and these were so much fun.
These will also make great gifts.
Thank so much for stopping by!
