Hi there! McCall here! I’m excited to share a fun up-cycled art project I made using the TCW632 Sweet Posey stencil and an old piece of art. So far this is my favorite stencil!
*The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.*
I have a bunch of unfinished abstract art hanging around my craft room. I found this gem from when I taught my summer camp art kiddos how to paint with shaving cream. Here’s the gist of it: start by mixing water color paints with shaving cream, paint, then scrape the excess from the paper using the edge of a ruler. Fun project for all ages!
I took my shaving cream painting and placed and taped stencil
TCW632 Sweet Posey on top of it.
Let the painting begin, I lightly dabbed my brush over the stencil in a stippling motion.
Look what lovely design I found as I lifted the stencil!
I’m all about Mandalas, so it was natural that I cut it to a circle.
This new art has found itself a home right next to my “Good Vibes Only” poster. Seemed like the Zen thing to do.
