Inspiration cards

I’ve been making inspiration cards for over a year now and sharing them on my Instagram page on Fridays. On the most recent ones, I seem to be a bit obsessed with the new stencil line and modeling paste!

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. This post also contains affiliate links. The opinions I share are solely my own.

So for the next batch, I decided to use up a bunch of manila file folders I have. I cut the file folder into pieces the same size as a playing card to keep that consistent. I then added a layer of white gesso to each card.

For the three cards I made for this post, I used Cards and Lace, Doodle Bloom and Angel Wings. For the other three cards that you see in the group picture, I used Zia Sun Bit, Star Circle Bit and Profile with Dots Bit.

The final step is to add my inspirational saying which I typed on copy paper using an old typewriter. A bit of Inktense pencil shadowing helps anchor the words to the card and I’m all set to share the cards on Instagram!

Thanks for joining me today!

    1. Deli paper is a dry wax paper (Not regular wax paper) that is often used to pull monoprints from a gelatin plate. You can sometimes find it at your local grocer or online.
