Art journal page • Wings and Roots

I recently stumbled across some YouTube videos from a great art journaler from London, Mike Deakin. He uses alot of The Crafter’s Workshop stencils, so of course I wanted to see what he was doing with them!

I also videoed the process for you as well!

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. This post also contains affiliate links. The opinions I share are solely my own.

I tinted the modeling paste with black acrylic paint to get a gray shade. I also stenciled the wing from one of the butterflies on the stencil onto book paper to create the wings for the page.

I can’t imagine trying to do this for a ransom note! I ended up stamping the words “become” and “remind” just to end the torture.

I’ll definitely be doing the challenge next month!

Thanks for joining me today!
