a little canvas art… happy

Hello to all the crafters workshop fans. Today I have a wee project that you could whip up quickly. And if you know me by now you will see I really am a circle girl!  Ok so let take a wee look at the project and then grab some supplies and get busy!

project 2 - july lp 3project 2 - july lp 1project 2 - july lp 2I am in love with this stencil – 12 x 12 doodling Template Parasolsproject 2 - july lp 4 Step 1: Place Parasols stencil on canvas and use some texture paste.  Peel off and allow to dry.project 2 - july lp 5Step 2: Now we have a fabulous  design from the Parasols stencil. It will give dimension to our canvas also.project 2 - july lp 6Step 3: Use an assorted of inky sprays randomly. Allow to dry. Cut out some random circles from scrappy card stock and place on inky canvas.project 2 - july lp 7Step 4: Using a black ink, spray all over a few times. Allow to dry and lift the hand cut circles away. project 2 - july lp 8Step 5: Once completely dry use a white gel pen and doodle around each circle to make it pop. Then simply embellish your canvas with a simple word. Maybe it could be your word that you wish to focus on this year.
