The inspiration for this post was my desire to create
Valentine ATC’s.
As I didn’t have any papers to do this….
I thought what a great time to do
a study of papers.
I have LOTS of various papers
and wanted to see how they would react
to mist sprayed though various templates….
So I pulled out my bin of The Crafter’s Workshop stencils
and chose
TCW492S ~ Kasia’s Letters
TCW248S ~ Cubist
TCW478S ~ Beaded Curtain
and a bottle of Lindy’s Stamp Gang ~ Pretty in Pink Pink
and a bottle of Perfect Paints ~ Gold
My first paper I chose was Canvas Corp Brands ~ Crepe Paper.
I placed TCW492S Kasia’s Letter on the paper and spritzed away.
I dried the paper, then decided to spritz the paper with a bit of water.
I LOVED the look.
There was quite a bit of ink still on the stencil so I
laid it onto a piece of dry Canvas Corp Brands Tissue Stock.
Sadly, the stencil image is not visible. When the paper was
spritzed with water, for the most part, the ink stayed in place.
My next paper I tried was Canvas Corp Brands ~ Suede paper.
I used one of my FAVORITE STENCILS
TCW248S ~ Cubist
I followed the same steps as above.
LOVED this look tooooo!!!
My last paper chose was a patterened paper by Canvas Corp Brands.
For this trial I used the
TCW478S ~ Beaded Curtain
When the mist hit the paper….it did not move at all!!
When all the ink was dry on the papers,
I applied Perfect Paints ~ Bright Gold
through
TCW484S ~ Netting
TCW483S ~ Spotted
onto my “created” papers.
Here is the final result of my study….
Hope you have enjoyed my Study of PAPER!
and my Valentine ATC’s!!
