I hate to waste craft supplies, especially pretty lace pieces in odd leftover sizes. So what I did was to adhere them on this 4×4 canvas with gel medium. When it was dry, I applied Golden Fiber Paste with The Crafter’s Workshop TCW487S.
After that I painted with Faber Castell Gelatos and with white gesso. The white gesso really helps to “bring” out the intricate lace details. A few more embellishments completed the 4×4 canvas.
Next time you have little pieces of lace leftover from another project, don’t throw them out. Give this technique a try!
