Hey there crafty peeps Rita Barakat here with some monochromatic ideas for decorating! I had these hat boxes that did not go with my studio and for my display at CHA, so I decided to change them up with a little color and my TCW stencils!
I ended up with four different color boxes. This one I did with rasberry and grape Gelatos. I used Gesso over the entire project (some of it was glossy so it really helped) then I added a little whipped spackle with various TCW stencils. I also used textures like burlap or canvas. I colored each box with Gelatos and a little misted water.
Here are two of the boxes at CHA in green and purples. This is such an easy project to replicate I hope you will try it!
Be blessed!
Rita
