Stenciled chipboard fun

Hi Everyone, it’s Beck BT here today sharing with you a page in my Art journal.  I had so much fun incorporating the stencils onto it.  They really help give your projects that increased bit of detail and interest.

I had fun creating my first real Art Journal page today.  I included some of my favourite The Crafter’s Workshop stencils as well as inks and paint.  So much fun!

I used these three stencils to create my Art Journal page:

TCW487 Alhanbra TCW 490 tattered lace tcw 458                                      Alhanbra                 Tattered Lace             Coffee Splotch

Begin by stencilling with Pink distress ink through the Albanbra stencil.step 1

Take texture paste and the ‘Coffee Splotch’ stencil and add some texture to the background

step 2

Take the Tattered lace stencil and add some brown colour ink through the stencil to give the effect of old worn metal.  I first inked my chipboard piece with a pearl white ink pad.

step 3

Now that you have seen how I used the stencils on toay’s project, here is some detail pictures for you to get up and close with my page.

I hope you enjoyed my share today and have a go yourself at getting your ‘Art’ on!

Happy Crafting!!
