Harlequin project for CHA

Hey hey there artsy crafters Rita Barakat here! I am super excited to reveal one of my display projects for CHA using the The Crafters Workshop Harlequin Stencil for the background!

Surely you must know that The Crafters Workshop stencils work with numerous products and today after coloring my canvas with Gelatos (Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft) I also used crackle glaze and crackle paste (DecoArt) on top of the harlequin stencil.

You must lift the stencil straight up and wipe it down right away – a baby wipe comes in handy! Then set it aside to dry.

After it dries completely you can add color on top of the paste. Giving you lots of depth and texture with one stencil and of course providing  a beautiful background for your art! I hope you will try this technique. I have this project and more on display at my CHA booth #19 so if you go come check it out and of course don’t forget to visit the The Crafters Workshop at booth  #2632!

Happy Crafting,
Rita
