Hello! Karenliz here. Are you like me? I know Christmas is coming but I’m never ready for it. This year I decided to make a few Christmas gifts and stencils are the perfect tools to help.
I have lots of wooden frames that I picked up in the dollar bin a few years ago. I like to turn them into a home décor items that you can either hang up or put on a table. I took the frame and painted it white and added Random Stars stencil (TCW479s) with modeling paste. When it dried I added many different layers of white and gold paint.
I also used the same technique on an embellishments but this time I used the North Star stencil (TCW481s).
Now that everything is dry I was able to put it all together.
Here is a close up of frame and deer to see the stencils I used.
Here are all the supplies I used:
- TCW481s – North Star
- TCW479s – Random Stars
- Sizzix Tim Holtz Tattered Poinsettia
- Sizzix Tim Holtz Holiday Greens
- Sizzix Tim Holtz Mini Reindeer Set
- Wooden Frame
- Acrylic Paints – White and Gold
- Modeling Paste
- Glitter
- Alpha Stamps and Gold Embossing Powder
Do you make Christmas Gifts? Yes! Go grab some stencils and start creating. There’s still lots of time left before Christmas!
Merry Christmas!

That frame is fabulous. I know items should “look” handmade, but we always strive for professional. Well the frame looks like you bought it. Gorgeous.
