For most of us, the journaling is the finishing touch to a layout. But sometimes, it can be hard to find a nice journal spot for our layouts without “ruining” the overall aesthetic of the piece, right?
At first, I wanted to incorporate it under the title work with a white pen. Then I decided that since I’ve used rectangle shapes for all the photos, I could create a journal spot with the same shape. So I applied Liquitex light modelling paste with The Crafter’s Workshop TCW 392 Captured stencil. The hearts were coloured with a red Sharpie and the journaling was done with a white pen.
It’s a fun way to include a journal spot on your layout, don’t you think?

Very clever. Thanks for the idea. Why don’t I think of these things?
