Hello, Karenliz here. I’ve been carving cardboard again. This time I used the Maple Leaf Fragment (TCW2048) and a scrap piece of cardboard.
First I traced the fragment on a piece of cardboard. I took my x-acto knife and sliced though the top layer of cardboard and gently pulled it off. Each leaf I carved differently. The largest one I took the inside pieces and the second one I took the outline of the fragment.
Once you have carved all that you want you can erase the lines or leave them there. To complete my piece I decided to use watered down acrylic paint to the top and then added some dictionary paper and paper flowers.
Have you carved any cardboard lately? You should try it. It’s lots of fun.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
