clip_image001

Welcome to day 4 of our inspiration-filled, fun-filled festival during our team’s Creatastic Blog Hop.  Join us each day as we share amazing projects created by our Design Team members.   Susan K Weckesser’s Design Team will be sharing projects they create over on their site too.  Both teams will be using Susan K Weckesser Inc products as well as stencils by The Crafter’s Workshop.

Now, make sure you visit both blogs, because we are going to have some fun prize packages given away each day on both sites.  You need to leave comments each day for a chance to win!  We also encourage you to stop by and become a fan of Susan K Weckesser Facebook Page and The Crafter’s Workshop Facebook Page because that is where we will announce the winners.

We have Lynne Forsythe and Lydell Quin here today to share their projects:

Autumn Tag by Lynne Forsythe

What an honor to be able to create with such fabulous products by
The Crafter’s Workshop and
Susan K Weckesser.

Fall is in the air here in the North Country….
the mountain sides are full of color!
Hence my inspiration for my tag.
Live to Create by Lynne ForsytheI began by laying The Crafter’s Workshop ~ Maple Leaf Fragment on my tag
and spritzing with TA ~ Safari Green Glimmer Mist.
Repeating the process several times.

Live to Create by Lynne ForsytheI randomly stamped with Susan K Weckesser’s ~ Autumn Grunge with
Archival Ink ~ Potting Soil.
Repeating that process using Susan K Weckesser’s ~ Washi stamps.

I then applied Embossing Paste through
The Crafter’s Workshop ~ Mini Ledger.

As my tag had a rather “earthy” feel.
I chose to stay with the theme and used
a branch from my Northern White Cedar
to embellish my Petaloo Burlap Flower.
(it’ll be interesting to watch the branch change color!)

I accented my twig with a few Petaloo ~ Forget Me Nots.

How WONDERFUL is the saying from Susan K Weckesser’s “Live in Color” tags??!?!

Perfect way to finish off my tag.
Hope you have enjoyed my Fall Inspired creation
featuring Susan K Weckesser’s products!

  1. I love the Earthiness to this fabulous tag! Using the layers and dimension really makes it pop… I love the real branch addition. Thanks so much for inspiring.

  2. Both of these projects are wonderful. I love the colors in Lydell’s and the use of natural materials in Lynne’s.

  3. Great tag! The added natural element is such a great idea. I’ve hesitated on getting the ledger stencil but I think it’s next on my list. 🙂

  4. I love the subtle background in Lynne’s piece! SUch pretty colors. lydell’s layout is so cute! What a fun way to use the stencil!

  5. Awesome tag Lynne! Love the gold with the mini ledger stencil! Great colors, reminds me of the forest. And the layout is too cute! Love the stars and the subtle stamping. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
