Don’t you love doing art? Hey there arty peeps Rita Barakat here today to share some fun layering techniques!july 2014 010100
I started with a Gelato painted base then grabbed this very cool new stencil TCW488 Viva La Art!july 2014 012100I painted a little glaze over the word “ART” and used a heat gun to dry it. Don’t worry if it doesn’t show, this will act like a resist later!july 2014 013100Then I went tot town with TCW490 Tattered Lace and TCW488 Viva La Art! Drawing over the stencils with Gelatos and spreading it around with a dry sponge.july 2014 014100Keep adding layers until you are happy with it then take a paper towel and wipe off the word “Art”, it forms a resist and you will see you your original color from your first layer.july 2014 016100I use a stencil brush to rub around any built up color around the letters- fun stuff! You should totally try this!

Blessings!
