Using your stencil to create a “grid” for your elements

Hello there!  Have you tried using your stencil to create a “grid” for your elements?

Fun-day-layout-by-Yvonne-Yam-for-The-Crafters-Workshop4 I started off by using the residual mists left on the Wonky Circles TCW220 on a 12×12 sheet of watercolour paper. Then I added my photos.

Next comes the fun part…using the reversed stencilled image as a “grid” to lay down the rest of your elements. I added scalloped borders from Heidi Swapp and chipboard letters from My Mind’s Eye.

To draw attention to the main photo, I tilted the photo, then embellished with fussy cut flowers from DCWV patterned paper.

Hope you’ve been inspired to create a “grid” for your elements.

Cheers,

Yvonne
