Fun With Vellum – A Layout

Hello! It’s Miae here to share another layout!

MiaeRowe_TCW_Bike Fair Antics (1)I played with the Halftone Border TCW419 stencil on vellum to create those polka dotted banners across the page.

I used chalk ink over vellum so the vellum would not warp as it can do when wet.

When I was done, the vellum looked like this.

After the ink was dry, I cut along the irregular border to make banners. I added glitter glue to many of the dots for a little added sparkle.

To add more interest to the background I applied acrylic paint with a sponge using Dashed Lines TCW286 and Punchinella TCW219….

then stamped a fun sentiment along the dashed lines…

and outlined the stars with white pen. For my final touch I machine stitched the banners.

I hope you found some TCW inspiration in this layout!

Cheers,
