Using Moroccan Tiles Stencil for Spooky Lights

Hi Everyone, Karenliz here.

I wanted to make some spooky lights for a few Halloween gifts but didn’t have a die in my stash that would work.  Just like carving cardboard, you can do the same thing with any paper. This time I used a manila tag, a electric tea light and chose a tile from the Moroccan Tile stencil.

I traced the stencil on the tag and then I cut out all the negative space, painted it black with a little sparkle paint on top.  I added yellow and orange paint to deli paper and attached it to back of the tag. Using double stick tape I attached the tag around the tea light.  I then added paper punched bats on wire and spiders, black ribbon to finished my spooky light.

The wonderful thing about these tea lights is they flicker like real candles so it almost looks like those spiders are moving around. Now go look at your stencils I bet you have one that would create something spooky!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
