Sabrina’s Sun Class w/Gelli Plates!

This “Sun Canvas” using Julie’s Blazonry stencil (TCW280) just makes me smile. Sabrina Somerby will be teaching this as a class, Friday, June 14 at Altered Angel in Alpharetta, GA. Call them: 678-368-4483

The sun’s rays are collaged paper. And I think the lines shooting out from them are Burst (TCW287). Enjoy the day, hope this brings you a little sunshine too!!

Michelle’s Splash of Green Girl

I stumbled upon Michelle Mathey’s blog through Julie Fei-Fan Balzer’s Pinterest board. I like the simplicity of how Michelle used the Blazonry TCW280 stencil. Here’s what Michelle wrote:

Life has been very busy lately – too busy to draw/sketch!! AARRGGHH – Despite the chaos around me, I took a few minutes to sketch a girl yesterday but then had no time to post her until now. She’s a bit contemplative and perhaps sad?. . .maybe she is dreaming about when she will have more time. . .

Colors are from the current Play Date Cafe Challenge.

Used gouache for the first time (Emerald) – not sure if I like it or not – I was in such a hurry to finish that I definitely appreciated that it was easily squirted from the tube but that’s not much of a recommendation for a paint is it?

Cristin + PanPastels

I love Cristin Grønnslett. And I love PanPastels! What could be better than putting them together with our stencils??

Doesn’t this just look delicious? Yes, you need all of those colors. And yes, you need their Sofft applicators (don’t cheap-out and think you can get away with some flimsy make-up sponge. You can’t!!) After you wish for all of our stencils, add PanPastels to your wishlist this holiday season.
