More die fun from Jean Okimoto! This is our “hello” die TCW1036. It adds a nice little dimension to the card. Here’s what it looks like on sprayed watercolor paper.
Did you know that we have dies?? Yes, it’s our well-kept secret! Actually, we’ve been so busy getting them to every store near you that we didn’t even have time to properly put them on our website. But not to worry, they’re up there now. Here. And luckily too, we sent a few out to Jean Okimoto (TCW1020 4×6 Dots and TCW1037 Sweet) who has had waaaaay too much fun punching them out of all sorts of paper and layering them with stamped images. To see more dies, click here. Thanks as always Jean!!
KK at Kay’s Company in New Zealand sent me a link to Mona’s blog and I was blown away! Check out how she used our “Bricks” stencil (TCW191). Mona even created a tutorial. There’s a little snippet below of how she used Molding Paste with Pumice to create the bricks. But she uses lots and lots of other fun things including My Favorite Things stamps and dies. If I ever needed some justification to buy more dies and stamps, this is it! Thanks Mona….I think!
You may have heard that we’re coming out with American-made steel dies. It’s something we’ve been fine-tuning for a few months, and finally THEY’RE HERE!! They are perfect for any card-making, scrapbooking, Project Life® stuff that you might be doing.
I sent a few of our newest dies over to KK in New Zealand because she is a total Metal Die-a-holic! I don’t know how she has time to run her very awesome distributor business, Kay’s Company, AND be so creative, but somehow she manages. Within days of receiving said care package, she sent me this image:
From the chevron to the butterfly to the “hello” to the embossed chickenwire, they’re all dies!! Stay tuned, more sneak peeks to come throughout the weeks!! (Dies are all shipping to stores January 2, 2013 or sooner.)
