Home Sweet Home – Semi-Transparent Art Journal Page

Welcome everyone! Today I’m going to show you how I created another page for my transparent art journal.

Supplies:

TCW813 Blue Print
TCW721 Big Wreath
TCW9002 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste
TCW9011 Gel Medium Matte

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

This time around I used sandpaper to scruff up the plastic and added gel medium to the background so when I added the paper it would adhere properly.

The acrylic ink spread nicely and I sprayed it with a little water and waited for it to dry. I added tissue paper with Matte Gel Medium, green acrylic ink, and TCW813 Blue Print Stencil designed by Gabrielle Pollacco to the stencil with TCW Heavy Body Acrylic in Spun Sugar.

Using TCW Light & Fluffy Modeling paste I added TCW721 Big Wreath to the page.

When it dried I painted it in greens and added a few pink rose buds (dots!).

I used a small tag and stamped Home Sweet Home and attached with a brad.

Here is my finished page.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums. You can share it with us on our Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest using hashtag #tcwstencillove.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
