Take Risks Art Journal Page

Hello everyone, Farrel here to share another art journal tutorial.

I also have a process video which you can watch at the end of the blog.

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.

To begin I start building my background using Dylusions Paint in Squeezed Orange and Vibrant Turquoise and TCW9016 Spun Sugar Heavy Body Acrylic Paint. I use my rubber brayer to apply light coverage to my art journal pages.

Once dry I add some splatters using the left over paint water. Then using a make up sponge I apply TCW9016 Spun Sugar Heavy Body Acrylic Paint with TCW773s Connected Dots.

Next I randomly apply Vibrant Turquoise paint with TCW764s Scrambled Numbers and dry with my heat gun.

The next layer I use TCW361s Mini Tiny Circles with Squeezed Orange paint.

And for the last layer I use TCW336s Mini Letters with Funky Fuchsia paint.

At the moment I am loving having a border on my art journal pages so here I used some washi tape around the edges and applied TCW9002 Black Gesso with a paint brush.

I stamped my sentiment and images onto some white cardstock and used a Stabilo Aquarellable Pencil for some shading. Then added splatters using TCW9016 Spun Sugar and TCW9015 Black Licorice paint which I watered down.

Thanks for dropping in and I hope this has inspired you to use your TCW stencils in your art journal.
