Hi everyone, Heidi here, today I would like to show you another set of easy and fun Christmas cards to get your Christmas mojo flowing (for my first set of Christmas cards you can go HERE)! Today’s cards are focusing on an angel image that is totally suitable for the Christmas season! I created two cards, but the steps for both cards are the same! So, let’s get started!

Card 1:
Step 1:
I measured and cut a piece of 7,5 centimetres wide from some vellum. I adhered the vellum to my work surface using removable tape. Then I taped a The Crafter’s Workshop stencil called “Prayerful Angel“ (TCW821s) over the vellum and applied Versafine “Onyx Black“ ink over the stencil using a foam applicator tool in an up and down pouncing motion (don’t make circle motions). When the image was completely covered I removed the stencil carefully, the ink is still wet at this point!
Step 2:
Then I applied “Clear“ Embossing Powder over the angel image and melted that with my heat tool. Not all heat tools are suitable for this! The Ranger one is good, others might be too hot, then the vellum will warp/melt (when you have a different heat tool, keep it further away from the vellum and heat in short bursts to melt the powder). Now the image is permanent!
Step 3:
I choose a white card base to work with. Then I die cut two rectangle panels, one slightly smaller then the other: one in a pearly crème colour and one in olive green. These two die cut panels I adhered together using liquid glue. Now I can fold the vellum around the edges of these combined panels and adhere on the back using regular tape.
For my sentiment I choose of the stamps from the Lili of the Valley stamp set called “Christmas Handwritten Phrases“ (but you can use any stamp set that you have that fits the design you’re going for). I stamped the sentiment on two pieces of the same coloured card stock that I used before and then die cut two banners (slightly different in size) using the Lawn Fawn “Everyday Sentiment Banners“ die set.
I adhered the two banners on my project using one millimetre thick foam tape and then folded over the top and adhered on the back using regular tape.
Now all I have to do to finish this fun Christmas card project is to adhere the combined panels with the banners on the white card base also using one millimetre thick foam tape!

Card 2:
This is my second card: it’s build in the same way as the first one. I used the Mama Elephant “Bold Banner“ die to die cut the sentiment and I changed up the colour combination in the way that the olive green card stock is up front.
