A Quick and Easy Background with Karenliz

Hi Everyone!!
Today I’m going to show I create a easy background that you can use on anything.  You can use any of your favorite colors but keep it to three plus the background color. I like to use pretty color combinations like blues, greens, white or pink, orange, and yellow.  Just keep it simple.

For this tag I used dark blue for the background of the tag and the fun part is using white, green and a lighter blue to splatter the tag.  Dried it and then added TCW248 Cubist to the tag.

Love it? I almost didn’t finish the tag. I love the way it looks so far but then I decided to add TCW736 Dramatic Floral to the tag.

When it dried it looked like the colors of the ocean so that lead me to add TCW496 Sea Creatures to the tag. I used TCW Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste to add the sea horse.  I also added some pieces of chipboard I found in my scraps drawer.

As you can see in the next picture, I added a little bit of blue and green paint to add some color to the sea horse.

Here is my finished tag:

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

The splatters of paint and just one stencil create gorgeous backgrounds. Try any TCW stencil. It doesn’t matter what stencil it is they all create gorgeous backgrounds.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. You can see all the new stencils and Mixed Media Metallic Modeling Pastes on Scrapbook.com.

We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums. You can share it with us on our Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest using hashtag #tcwstencillove.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
