GRAFFITI KISSES

It’s amazing how versatile the stencil TCW752 Graffiti Kisses is! Not only does it have hearts, x’s, filled circles, and other little cut-outs, but the four sides of the stencil itself are cut to look like torn paper. This stencil can be used as a background or showcased as the focal point. And if you have the large and small size, well, you’ve got double the options! Hi, art friends, it’s Patty from arteverydaystudio and I’m back to share three cards I made using this stencil and they are all completely different. And with Valentine’s Day closing in on us, these cards will surely be a hit with your valentines!

Supplies
TCW752 Graffiti Kisses in 6 x 6 and 12 x 12 sizes
Gina K designs for thermoweb ink pad in red velvet, sponge applicator,
old book pages to stamp on, scissors, blank cards,
ribbon, various stamps, black pen, glue

Card #1

Using the sponge applicator and red ink pad, stencil different sizes of the circles onto the tan card. Make sure to stencil some of the circles off the card edges for interest. Draw circles around the stenciled circles with the black pen and then write around the circles. The writing can be legible or illegible. Trouble thinking of something to write? Choose a poem, or song lyrics. Stamp image onto printed paper and fussy cut out. Glue inside largest circle. Stencil some of the little cutouts onto a printed piece of paper, tear, and glue onto card. Stamp “#life is good”. Use the black pen to add some details.

Card #2

Using the sponge applicator and red ink pad, stencil hearts in various sizes onto the white card. Outline with the black pen, adding extra details to the largest three in the middle. Stamp “love” across the top and bottom of card. Add stamped paint dots to 3 corners of card. Punch 2 holes in the top fold of card. Thread red ribbon through, and tie into a bow.

Card #3

Using the outside edge of the stencil, stencil lines across a piece of printed paper. Tear edges to fit card.

Before gluing onto white card, use sponge applicator to edge around the card. Glue printed paper onto card. Stamp girl and piece of frame and then fussy cut out. Glue onto card. Stamp “Think Happy. Be Happy” directly onto printed paper. Attach mini safety pins to washi tape and then glue washi tape to card. Stencil tiny heart from Graffiti Kisses, outline with black pen, fussy cut out, and glue onto girl.
