Video Tutorial: Stenciled Snowflake Cards with The Crafter’s Workshop

Hello it’s Gracie Chavez and today I have a super quick and easy card idea for Christmas… Yes, so much to do, so little time and you and I know that we want to make the prettiest, most elegant cards possible… This technique will help you do just that without spending too much time!

Most products used for this post were sent by The Crafter’s Workshop and Therm O Web, nevertheless the opinions expressed are solely mine

On this occasion I also have a short video tutorial to show you how I made these cards. You’ll see that the process is really easy, you can make many backgrounds at once and although the modeling pastes take some time to dry you can perfectly let them dry overnight and just add the embellishments during the morning. Also, the pastes that I used on this project -Deco Foil Transfer Gel and Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste- do not take long to dry. I recommend you apply a thin layer to accelerate the drying process.

List of Supplies:
TCW720 Snowflakes Stencil 6″x 6″
TCW9004 Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste
Gina K. Designs Fancy Foils 6″x 8″ Sparkling Silver – Transfer Sheets
Deco Foil Transfer Sheets – Deep Blue
Deco Foil Transfer Gel
Foil Laminator – 12″
Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates Sentiments – Holiday Cheer
Gina K. Designs (3) Nested Circle Dies – Double Stitch Design – Small Set
Gina K. Designs (3) Nested Circle Dies – Single Stitch Design – Large Set
Deco Foil™ Toner Sheets
Zots™ Roll • 3D
Canson Watercolor Paper 140lb.

I tested a couple of modeling pastes from TCW and I found that the Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste is great for layering stenciled textures. As you can see on the picture above the paste held its shape on top of the Decofoil Gel and you can’t see a ghost trace of the previous stenciled and foiled textured.

Hope you love this idea and that you find it useful during this Holiday Season. Do tag us on social media so we can see what you make with The Crafter’s Workshop. For more creative ideas for all your crafts projects subscribe to TCW blog! Until next time!
